Redbud Ranch has been in existence since the late 1940's when Clifford and Tobie Branch began their operation of registered Hereford cattle.  Always keen on genetics, Clifford assembled and developed a carefully selected herd of cattle that gained national prominence in the registered cattle business.  The Redbud name was known for its Hazlett and Husker Mischief bloodlines, producing highly desirable cattle in terms of quality, soundness and performance.  The cattle operation ceased in the 1970's when Clifford's health began to fail.

The land and the ranch have remained with the Branch family over the years and today operations are under the direction of Clifford’s daughter, Debbie, who continues the family tradition of quality and desirability through the breeding and showing of performance Quarter Horses.

That commitment is demonstrated through the horses that now stand at the Ranch where the goal is simply to breed and deliver a top quality cow horse, capable of excelling either in the show ring or in a working ranch environment. The purpose of this site is to give you a sense of that commitment and capability as exemplified through the horses shown here.

Although the horse program is still in its early stages, we are certainly proud of what we have assembled and are excited about the potential that we believe can be achieved from this strong foundation.

Take a look at them and let us know what you think. Better yet, stop by and see for yourself. Visitors are always welcome.
